![]() By the beginning of 2012, Microsoft is expecting to launch Windows 8 . By the end of this year, the public can expect to lay their hands upon the public beta of Windows 8. Â Windows 8 is expected to the first tablet oriented operating system. It is going to compete with Google and Apple in the mobile tablet category. Â Recent leaks report that the operating software is at the very early stage of development. The software is specifically designed to optimize tablets performance. It will consist of an integrated camera support and a fully 3D rendered interface. Windows 8 will also include a new PDF Reader. This new version of Windows will include 'ribbon' navigation where a set of toolbars would be distributed on tabs in a tab bar. Â It would help the users to find, understand, and use commands efficiently and directly.Â
The operating system would consists of all good features of mobile operating system and would support ARM processors providing thinner design and a better battery life. Mobile gadgets backed with ARM chipsets have lower power consumption than x86-based products. ARM based gadgets brings native Wi-Fi, 3D, 3G, GPS Bluetooth, NFC and mobile TV support. Windows 8 is committed deliver the same interface on several architectures.
