Music for stress release

Music is the best remedy to harmonize internal disturbances of a body.  However, same category of de-stressing music cannot be applied universally. According to Ayurvedic principle, music must be chosen based on body composition (Prakruti).

Every human is composed from the five elements (ether /space, air, fire, water, earth).  The five elements come together in each creature in a different composition .Thus, each person is slightly different from every other person in their mixture of elements, and in the way they balance themselves.  These differences (Doshas) need to be honored and worked with. What music helps one person will not necessarily help another; each is unique. So it is very essential to known one’s innate constitution or Prakruti. The five elements come together to create three basic constitutional types: Vata (predominant ether and air elements), Kapha (predominant earth and water elements), Pitta (predominant fire and water elements).
